Description:
Glynis Margaret Payne Johns, actress, dancer, pianist, and singer died at the age of 100 on Jan. 4. Johns appeared in over 60 films and 30 plays over a career that spanned eight decades. Johns is best known for her role as Winifred Banks in the 1964 film Mary Poppins. She also appeared in The Sundowners (1960), The Sword and the Rose, While You Were Sleeping, Batman, and many more. She received a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award.
