Description:
Rick Davies, co-founder, vocalist, and songwriter for the British rock band Supertramp, died Sept 8 at 81. Known for his soulful voice, sharp lyrics, and keyboard style, Davies wrote and sang classics including Goodbye Stranger and Bloody Well Right. Davies helped shape Supertramp’s distinctive sound, leaving a lasting mark on 1970s rock.
