Description:
Bob Uecker, aka Mr. Baseball & the voice of his hometown Milwaukee Brewers, died Jan. 16 at age 90. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Uecker signed his first professional contract with the Milwaukee Braves & reached the majors in 1962. He'd last six seasons in the big leagues as a backup catcher. Ueker became a broadcaster in 1971 & continued through 2024. Ueker appeared over 100 times on Johnny Carson Show, & in small movie/TV roles.
