Description:
Jay North, known as the troublemaker in the TV show Dennis the Menace, died on April 5 at 73. Cast at age 6, the series ran from 1959-1963, & ran in syndication. Other TV/film credits included Wagon Train, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., voice work, and playing himself in a 1999 episode of The Simpsons. North often spoke of the cost of stardom as a child actor, including abuse. North helped counsel other child & former child actors.
