Description:
Peter Marshall (born Ralph Pierre LaCock), a game show host and actor, died on August 15 at age 98. The original host of The Hollywood Squares (1966-1981), he had nearly 50 television, movie & Broadway credits. Marshall worked on TV in small roles and landed the host job after his famous friend, Morey Amsterdam, suggested he take on as host of The Hollywood Squares.
