Description:
Acclaimed British actor Terence Stamp, whose career spanned six decades, died August 17 at 87. First nominated for an Oscar in Billy Budd (1962), he went on to star in The Collector, as General Zod in Superman, and later in The Limey. Known for his intensity and elegance, Stamp remained one of cinema’s most magnetic figures, blending art-house acclaim with blockbuster fame.
