Peter John Preston (May 23, 1938 - January 6, 2018) was a British journalist and author. He was educated at Loughborough Grammar School and St John's College, Oxford, where he edited the student paper “Cherwell”. He joined “The Guardian” in 1963 and was editor for twenty years, from 1975 to 1995. Honor Peter’s memory by posting a comment or pic to this Collective.
