Description:
Mrs. Breedlove becomes obsessed with makeup, beauty and movies. However after a while of doing this she realizes that she no longer wants to have “fake†beauty. She questions why she needs to wear makeup and trendy clothing to be beautiful. Morrison incorporates to ponder why society forces women to be something that they aren’t. She sends a message to all women and girls that they don’t have to wear makeup to be beautiful.
