Description:
Actor Val Edward Kilmer, known for his well received roles in The Doors, Tombstone and Batman Forever, died April 1 at age 65. Kilmer first gained recognition as Iceman, Tom Cruise's rival in Top Gun. A graduate of The Juilliard School, Kilmer was in dozens of movies and TV shows. He was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2015. Kilmer is survived by his 2 children.
