Description:
Frank Gehry, the groundbreaking, architectural giant whose sculptural designs reshaped skylines and modern culture, died Dec 5 at age 96. Winner of the Pritzker Prize, he created landmarks including the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Fondation Louis Vuitton. Gehry’s bold use of form and materials made him one of the most influential architects of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
