Description:
Peter Angelos, the longtime owner of the Baltimore Orioles and one of the nation’s most successful class-action attorneys, died on Saturday, March 23. He was 94. Angelos bought the Orioles franchise in 1993 for $173 million in 1993.As owner, Angelos had seen the team advance 3 times to the American League Division Championship, only to fall short of reaching the World Series.
