Description:
Damo Suzuki was born in 1950 in Kobe Japan. He moved to Europe in the late 1960’s and became the vocalist for the German Krautrock group, Can, in 1970. Suzuki left Can in 1973 and became a Jehovah’s Witness but left the organisation in the 80’s. Suzuki returned to music, writing and touring as Damo Suzuki’s Network until the COVID pandemic. He battled colon cancer in the 1980’s, and again, since 2014. He died on February 9, 2024, at 74.
