Description:
NHL fan favorite and top player Johnny Gaudreau, was killed by a suspected drunken driver while riding his bicycle in New Jersey. He was 31. Johnny Gaudreau, aka “Johnny Hocky,” played 10 seasons, 3 with the Columbus Blue Jackets & prior, 7 with the Calgary Flames. Gaudreau’s brother, Matt, who was cycling with Johnny, was also killed. They were pronounced dead at the scene some 35 miles south of Philadelphia.
