Description:

Here was a free jazz concert in West Philly's Clark Park where we had the great pleasure to see and hear Branford Marsalis and his band, where the sun was obscured by clouds to keep the heat off, and we lazed and ate a picnic of olives and Italian meats, baguettes and cheese. This year’s festival promoted nonviolence and unity in the Philadelphia community and was called “A Day to Remember.”
