George Carlin is considered one of the most influential stand up comedians of all time. He has influenced some of the best stand ups of the decade such as Louis C.K., Patrice O’neal and Bill Burr. He is known for his dark comedy and talking about taboo subjects such as race, religion, language and America. Carlin is perhaps the most prolific stand up comedian who has ever walked on stage. Before he passed away 2008, he released 13 HBO specials.
