Description:
Betsy Gay, former child star known for her role as Effie, Alfalfa’s girlfriend, in 1930’s TV series, The Little Rascals, died June 13 at age 98. Gay later became a singer and voice actress. She was a champion yodeler, & won the California State championship in 1945 & 1946. Gay left show business in the late ‘50's to raise her children.
