James Earl Jones, best known for the voice of Darth Vader, & one of the few to achieve the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony), died on September 9, at 93. Jones was described as "one of America's most distinguished & versatile" actors. Jones acted in many dozens of roles in film, theatre, TV for 60+ years. Jones was nominated for an Oscar for The Great White Hope, & the hit Field of Dreams. His numerous awards include the National Medal of Arts.
