Counter-protestor 69-year-old Zionist Paul Kessler died from an altercation with a pro-Palestinian demonstrator November 6, 2023, amid dueling demonstrations over the war in Gaza in Thousand Oaks, Calif., a suburb about 40 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Witnesses said Mr. Kessler got into an argument with the pro-Palestinian demonstrator on Sunday and fell during the altercation, sustaining a head injury. He died the following day.
