Description:
Award-winning journalist Evan Wright, who wrote about the Iraq war while embedded with US marines in his book, Generation Kill, has died July 12, at age 59. According to the medical examiner, Wright died by suicide. Generation Kill was adapted into the HBO miniseries of the same name. Wright appeared in the Max documentary Teen Torture, Inc, & spoke about his time in the Seed, a controversial “scared straight” program for children in Florida.
