Description:
Wink Martindale, the popular host of such hit game shows as Gambit & Tic-Tac-Dough, died August 15 at 91. After Martindale's work in radio, he was tapped to host the popular show, Gambit in 1972. It would be canceled 4 years later. Martindale went on to host Tic-Tac-Dough from 1978-1985. Martindale is survived by his wife and 3 children from his first wife. He was preceded in death by his son.
