Brooklyn Dodgers all-time great, and last living “Boys of Summer”, Carl Erskine, has died at the age of 97. Carl was a World Series Champion, who played his entire career for the Dodgers from 1948 - 1959. In 1953, Erskine set a World Series record with 14 strikeouts in a single game, and pitched two of the NL's seven no-hitters during the 1950s. Erskine was an advocate for those with special needs, inspired by Jimmy, his son with Down Syndrome.
