Marshall Brickman, the Oscar-winning screenwriter who wrote some of Woody Allen’s best films and a number of Johnny Carson’s most beloved sketches, died Nov 29 at 85. Films Brickman and Allen wrote include Annie Hall and Manhattan. Annie Hall won them an Oscar for best original screenplay. Brickman wrote the 2005 Broadway musical Jersey Boys, which ran for 12 years. Brickman is survived by his wife and 2 daughters.
