Description:
Greg Iles, bestselling novelist of suspense, history, and Southern gothic, died Aug 15 at age 65. Known for the Natchez Burning trilogy and more than a dozen other novels, Iles wove thrillers with deep moral questions roote. A survivor of a near-fatal car crash, he turned pain into powerful storytelling. He is survived by his wife and 4 children.
