Description:
Brian Wilson, the gifted musician/songwriter/ co-founder of The Beach Boys, died June 11 at 82. Wilson’s career began with the Beach Boys in 1961 & by 1965 he wrote over 2 dozen hits including: I Get Around, Help Me, Rhonda, Good Vibrations. Despite lifelong mental health struggles, his music soared. Wilson won 2 Grammy awards and has a lifetime achievement Grammy with The Beach Boys. He leaves behind 5 children & a timeless musical legacy.
