Description:
Bette Nash, the world’s longest-serving flight attendant, according to Guinness World Records, & who flew the friendly skies for 67 years, has died on May 17, at age 88. Nash began flying the shuttle flight between Washington, DC & Boston with the long-defunct Eastern Airlines in 1957, which became American Airlines. Nash was attracted to flying at 16 because of its romance and glamour.
