Robert “Bob” Popovics, a legend in the Fly Fishing community, died Nov. 1 at 75. Bob was Founder & CEO of Pop Fleyes, a custom fly tying and educational company. He has been featured in Outdoor Life, Fly Fisherman, Salt Water Fly Fisherman, The Asbury Park Press and many other outlets. Bob authored 2 books, Pop Fleyes and Fleye Design, and was always available for fly fishing advice. Bob is survived by his wife and daughter.
