Tim Curry, the versatile British actor whose flamboyant performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show made him a cult icon, died August 25 at 80. Curry captivated audiences as Pennywise in It, and in films including Clue, Legend and Home Alone 2. A celebrated stage performer, Curry earned 2 Tony nominations. After a major stroke in 2012, Curry continued working, particularly in voice acting and occasional performances.
