Éliane Radigue, the pioneering French composer who reshaped electronic music through meditative, feedback-rich works, died Feb 24 at 94. Born in Paris, she became a leading figure in musique concrète and later reinvented the synthesizer with immersive, slowly evolving soundscapes. Radigue’s minimalist compositions influenced generations of experimental and ambient musicians worldwide.
