Description:
American songwriter, Mark James, died on June 8, at 83 years old. James is most known for his successful hits Hooked on a Feeling and Suspicious Minds. The latter was released by Elvis Presley in 1969. James’ greatest success came with the hit, Always on My Mind, originally a b side song for Elvis. Ten years later, Willie Nelson covered it and made the song a huge hit, & James won a Grammy for Song of the Year and Best Country Song.
