02/27/21-12/3/03 ~ Born in Chicago of Lithuanian parents, following graduation from Notre Dame, Zane served in the Navy during WWII, and then began a 30-year career at American Express, followed by a 5-year stint as an EVP at Citibank. Married to Else Hvingtoft Sandom, a Danish immigrant, the Sandoms had three children: Vanessa Lee; Michel Ninon and J. Gregory. Zane was an avid golfer and fisherman. Got a photo of Zane?
