Description:
Roger Allers, the Disney filmmaker who helped bring animated classics including The Lion King and Aladdin to the screen, has died Jan. 17 at age 76. A key creative force at Disney Animation, Allers co-directed The Lion King, one of the studio’s most successful films, and later directed Aladdin. His work shaped a generation of animated storytelling.
