Teri Garr, the Oscar-nominated actress best known for roles in Mr Mom, The Black Stallion, After Hours, and Tootsie, has died Oct. 29 at age 79, after a 20-year battle with multiple sclerosis. Garr got her start as a background dancer in Elvis Presley movies & some small roles on TV. Garr's big break came in 1974 in the thriller, The Conversation. Garr was cast as Gene Wilder's lab assistant in Young Frankenstein, a career breakthrough.
