Description:
Paul Auster, novelist & screenwriter, became a highly regarded New York writers of his generation, died on April 30. He was 77. Auster became linked with his adopted city of Brooklyn, which was a character in much of his work. Auster’s first novel, “City of Glass,” published in 1985, was the 1st of 3 is his celebrated work, “The New York Trilogy,” Auster would also write several screenplays, the most popular being “Smoke”, starring Harvey Keitel.
