Michael A. McAteer, Jr., 66, of Newark, passed away on April 23, 2022. Michael was born on April 23, 1956, in Newark. Michael was generous and adventurous. Among his cherished passions were family, sports, and music. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Teresa, and sisters, Marian and Gerri. Surviving family members are his father, Michael, Sr.; four brothers, Frank, Pat, Rich, and John; and two sisters, Ellen and Deirdre.
