On July 2, 2017, Jewish author Elie Wiesel passed away. He was a prolific author who was known for writing "Nightâ€, a book based on his experiences in the concentration camps, Auschwitz and Buchenwald, in Nazi Germany during the Holocaust. The book received many awards and accolades, including being selected on Oprah's Book Club list. Wiesel was an important figure in the Jewish community. Got a favorite pic of Wiesel?
