Description:
Walt Ehmer, the successful president and CEO of Waffle House, died from complications of pancreatic cancer. He was 58. Ehmer joined Waffle House in 1992 and rose President in 2006 & CEO in 2012. During the COVID pandemic, Ehmer announced a 50% reduction of his salary. Ehmer was on the board of directors of Aaron's, Inc. and a member of the board of trustees for the Atlanta Police Foundation. Ehmer is survived by his 3children.
