Philando Castile was pulled over and killed 07/16/16 in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, by a police officer named Jeronimo Yanez. Castile informed Yanez he was carrying a legal handgun. The victim's girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, videotaped the immediate aftermath of the shooting using Facebook live-stream. On 06/16/17, Yanez was acquitted of the charges.
