Description:
Mohamed Morsi (08/08/1951–06/17/2019) was an Egyptian politician who served as the fifth President of Egypt, 06/30/2012–07/03/2013, when General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi removed him from office in the 2013 Egyptian coup d'état after the June 2013 Egyptian protests. Egypt’s first democratically elected president collapsed and died while on trial in Cairo. Sarah Whitson of Human Rights Watch called it “criminal negligence†of prisoner rights.
